Internship Overview

We are looking for a motivated and creative Web and Software Developer Intern to join our remote team for a 2-month internship. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience working on live projects, collaborate with seasoned developers, and contribute to research-based tech products and services.

Roles and Responsibilities

As a Web and Software Developer Intern, you will,

  • Assist in designing, developing, and testing web and software applications.

  • Collaborate with the development team on frontend and backend features.

  • Maintain, update, and debug existing codebases (websites, APIs, or internal tools).

  • Participate in code reviews, sprint meetings, and documentation.

  • Contribute to UX/UI design improvements in web platforms.

  • Support database management and integration tasks.

  • Research and implement modern tools, frameworks, and best practices in software development.

  • Present progress reports and demos during team meetings

Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • Proficiency in at least one programming language ( Python, JavaScript, PHP, Java, or C++).

  • Basic understanding of web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript-Boostrap).

  • Familiarity with Git and version control systems.

  • Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and solve problems independently.

  • Good communication and time-management skills.

    Preferred Skills

    • Experience with any frontend framework

    • Experience with backend development

    • Knowledge of database systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

    • Experience working on collaborative or open-source projects.
